The 18th China Public Security Expo (“CPSE Expo”) was grandly opened at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center based in Futian on December 26, 2021. CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (“HED”) attended this show for the first time and released its three security chips in the smart safeguard systems for the first time, another great IoT security chip product of HED.
Security Chip in the Smart Safeguard Systems
With the rapid development of network video surveillance technology, data security issues have become increasingly prominent, threatening the security of the country, society, enterprises and families. In recent years, China has successively promulgated a number of policies and regulations to guide the construction of a network monitoring security system. Of these regulations, the Technical Requirements for Information Security of Video Surveillance Network System for Public Security, the mandatory national standards, clearly provides that the public security video surveillance shall use the Chinese encryption algorithm technology. The front-end image acquisition equipment, access users and central servers should realize the functions of identity authentication, video signature and video stream encryption and decryption based on the Chinese encryption algorithm technology. The identity authentication and video signature should use the SM2, and the video stream encryption should use SM1, SM4 and other Chinese encryption algorithms.
HED’s SE products can support devices to implement functions such as certificate loading, login authentication, video stream signature authentication, and video stream encryption and decryption. Further, these products are compatible with many mainstream video coder and decoder chips at home and abroad, and have a safe matching device-end SDK. As a result, developers may rapidly invoke SE security features by developing a security framework.
At this CPSE Expo, HED released the security SE chip, security TF card, security USB module in the smart safeguard systems, which not only meet the upgrading and transformation of old security equipment, but also support the research and development of new equipment products, and can be used in security front-end equipment and background monitoring center, etc. These three products use SM1/SM2/SM3/SM4 algorithms, pass Chinese Cryptogram Certification Level 2 and EAL4+ certification. They also comply with Level A/B/C requirements of the Technical Requirements for Information Security of Video Surveillance Network System for Public Security (GB35114-2017) and Baseline for Information System Cryptography Application (GMT0054-2018), the access standards for security products in the smart safeguard systems. As a leader in security chips and a firm practitioner of Chinese encryption algorithms, HED will continue to introduce security chips with higher security, higher performance, and and higher reliability, create a quality and safety benchmark for security chips in the smart safeguard systems, and provide safe, reliable and credible chips for the field of smart security.
